jsyk, this is a post mostly about Londyn

I don't think there's enough Londyn on this blog, so here's some more!
(With a few other random things thrown in).
Londyn and Daddy trying out the hiking backpack early in the morning.

Rearranging the cupboards.

Did you know that in Pocatello there is NOTHING to do?
So we went to Lowe's one Saturday and pretended like we might someday own a house and picked our favorite styles of everything.

Our sweet baby girl has the body of an old pot-bellied man.

I am a lucky mama to have such an adoring fan!

Londyn will climb over, under, or on top of whatever it takes to reach a screen.

Cheerio queen.

Just lounging.

Cords are by far her favorite "toy".
Read: anything that is not a toy is her favorite toy.

Exhibit B -  toy that is not a toy.

Boooooo.

We've been spending HOURS on craigslist and other sites looking for a place to live in KC.
I love sprinf-ing into action!
Seriously people, I will not even bother with your ad if your title has that bad of a spelling mistake!

Londyn loves to go walk around outside when it's warm and looooves to hold the mail.
Gotta love the constant wind here...not.
Londyn took her first steps at 9 1/2 months (she is 11 months now) and took 9 steps in a row that first day. We were so surprised and excited...and then she wouldn't walk for the next 3 weeks.
She is finally walking now...but still prefers to crawl.

Another favorite activity is pulling everything out of drawers, bags, baskets, etc.
If I didn't love her so much I would have no patience for it!

She still cheeses it up for the real camera.

I love this age!
It is so fun to see more and more of her personality coming through.
She is such a little sweetheart. When she is upset and crying she will stop crying to lean in for a kiss (without any prompting at all) which seems to make her feel better. She'll also do that when she's scared, sad, or first thing in the morning after getting her out of her crib.

We had one warm Saturday so we went for the first hike of the season!
We didn't know how Londyn would do on the hike since it was her first time in the backpack carrier so we just went for a short one up Red Hill above ISU.
These columns are at the top with a nice view of Pocatello.
We didn't stay long at the top because it was SOOOOO windy!
Like hard to stand up straight windy.
Poor Londyn was not a fan!

Chris' grandpa went to pharmacy school at ISU back in the day so we walked over to the campus to find the building and see if they had an old directory of students. (Pacific University has one of old optometry classes so we hoped for the same here). No such luck!

Even though Londyn doesn't look too happy in these photos she had a good time and it was so much fun to have her come along with us! She is a good little trooper.
Pocatello isn't so bad when it's warm enough to hike!

what we have been doing...

Enjoying the sun.
Out for a walk on a warm day.
We drive to the park to go for walks since the mobile home "neighborhoods" around us are not my ideal walking area.
First time swinging.

Exploring Pocatello...
2 things we've found to do in Pocatello:
Clean Museum - check
Museum of Natural history - check
Now what?

We went to the Museum of Natural History at ISU.

It was about the size of a classroom and we were the only ones there.

It was still fun and kinda cool to see some skeletons of huge beasts that used to exist.
This giant bison has horns that are 8 feet wide.
See, we learned some very useful information.

We walked around the campus to enjoy the sun.
When we were done and we got back to our car, it wouldn't start.
Sometimes it sucks living away from everyone you know.
Big eyes and rosy cheeks!
Those will cheer up any frustrating situation.
And don't worry, the big man upstairs is looking out for us and things always seem to work out...like our car miraculously starting after hanging out for a half hour.

Hanging out at home.
Londyn's favorite place to be is the kitchen.
Her favorite thing to do is check out the fridge.

And the dishwasher is a close 2nd.

Happy girl!

Sending Grandpa Lowe some love after his surgery.

Mama's girl to the max.
 Playing peek-a-boo with daddy.

"Oh Mom, you are too much!"

Easter.
The Easter Bunny was lazy this year and didn't visit us...maybe next year?!
Chris is a BABE in his new suit.

Salt Lake.
Chris had a week off of work so we went to Salt Lake for General Conference weekend and spent part of the week down there.
Happy traveler.
If only it stayed that way...

Pretty sunset on our drive to Salt Lake.

Grandma and Grandpa Lowe did a late Easter egg hunt for Londyn and cousin Quinn.
Not too sure about this.

Playing at Grandma and Grandpa Lowes.

Spent Priesthood Session with all the girls at my parents' house (and then my dad joined us after).
Londyn was overwhelmed with attention when we got there and I think she secretly loved it.

 The best little helper.
Helping Mama find something to make for dinner.
(If a screen is on, Londyn MUST be looking at it).

Helping Daddy play his guitar.

Helping Mama push the shopping cart with a vice grip.

Helping Grandpa Lowe eat his ice cream.

Countdown.
4 weeks until we leave Pocatello.
5 weeks until I am married to a Doctor (aka graduation)!
8 weeks until Londyn turns 1.
9 weeks until we move to Kansas City.
11 weeks until Chris starts his residency.

We are just enjoying the calm before the storm...
the crazy storm of moving from Pocatello to Salt Lake, traveling to Portland for graduation (I miss it so bad and am SO excited to go back for a few days), finding a place to live in KC, celebrating Londyn's 1st birthday (sniffle),  moving from SLC to KC (17 hour drive?!), settling in, adjusting, and starting a new (temporary-ish) life there!
