We are moving to Oregon in August! Chris was accepted to Pacific University which was our number one choice of where we wanted to go! We are so happy and excited! He was also accepted to the University of Houston but we both feel so right about going to Oregon. Pacific University is in the small town of Forest Grove which is about 40 minutes west of Portland and an hour from the coast. It is a small town which appeals to both of us and there is a good little LDS community there. The only worry we have is if I will be able to find a job there, apparently the unemployment rate in Oregon is double what it is in Utah. But there is also a posibility of me going to dental hygiene school there while Chris is in school!
We have only heard good things about Oregon and it is going to be an awesome adventure! More exciting news: Chris just found out the other day that he got the dean's scholarship! I am so grateful to have such a smart, hard working husband! All these years of hard work have really paid off for him and I'm so proud!
The semester is almost over for Chris and I can't wait until he no longer has to study! We are going to hike all over once it gets warm and live it up since it is our last summer in Utah for a while!
