We traveled to end of the continent yesterday and yelled Hi to Asia.
Have you ever thought of that when you're at the beach?
That your at the edge of the continent and Asia is the next closest thing, far far away?
Well, when I think of the beach I think of sand, the smell of the salty air and HEAT. (All of which make me love the beach).
And that's why I have such a problem with the coast in Oregon.
Despite the incredible scenery, I usually end up miserably cold and windburned.
And such was the case yesterday....
Bundled up at the beach.
At our favorite beach, Cannon beach.
I think I forgot to mention last time that Haystack rock is the one in the Goonies!
(maybe you already knew that)
Once we ventured closer to the water we had a lot of fun with the camera.
Chris is quite the acrobat.
We got lucky and were there as the tide went out.
When the tide is low you can walk to Haystack Rock and see lots of tide pools with cool creatures.
Hermit crab.
Star fish and anemones.
Even though we were so cold at the beach, it was the best time we've ever had!
p.s. Someone got that new computer they wanted :)
And yes, it is a mac...don't ask me how I feel about paying double the amount of my computer for it- for the same specs...

I can't wait to see this fabulous scenery in person! Hope the sunburns aren't too bad. I am so disappointed Chris let them happen. I was counting on him to be the sunscreen nazi in my place!
that is the CUTEST hoodie I have ever seen Heath!! Oh, my gosh, WHERE did you get it?:)
