Failure:
Crappy stuff changing Chris' plans for spring break.
Success:
Chris driving 12 hours to spend spring break in Utah with me!
Insane amounts of junk food ingested.
I told my mom to get rid of all the junk food in her house before I came and she told me they didn't have any.
The first night I was there I found (and ate): cheetos, girl scout cookies, oreos, peanut butter cups, chocolate covered pretzels, and m&ms.

Success:
We have finally decided on a name!
It's the same name we have liked all along since the day after finding out it is a girl.
But you'll just have to wait and see what it is :)
Failure:
Going to babies r us to get an idea of some big items we need and not registering...only to return 3 days later to do it all over again to register
Success:
Multiple conversations about "must haves" vs. "nice to haves" vs. "don't need at all" baby items
About time we started preparing for this girl!
Success:
GNO at the Utah gymnastics meet.
Oh how I've missed going to those the past 3 years!
Failure:
Still not making it to bed before midnight.
Still tired but less emotional, thank you sun.
Success:
Meeting my new doctor in Utah and loving her.
And ultrasound #6.
Knowing that baby girl is head down has helped me figure out what's going on in that circus in my belly!
She likes to stick her rump out and make my belly lopsided a lot.
Failure:
Little elbows + a big belly = lots of painful jabs.
"I want to sit next to you" in Kid Speak really means "I want to squish myself against you as much as possible and therefore my elbows will jab your stomach constantly."
Still love them though!
(Major) Success:
Not getting freaked out after meeting our new niece Quinn (2 months) and new nephew Weston (1 month) about having our own baby.
More excited than ever actually.
Success:
Surviving the crowds while checking out the new City Creek on a warm day.
Failure:
Wearing uncomfortable shoes to walk around City Creek.
Spent the rest of the night laying on the couch at the Lowes.
Failure:
Trailing 10 feet behind my mom while shopping everywhere....the waddle-walk has arrived.
Success:
Not getting sick during a Utah visit for possibly the first time.
Success:
Being reminded to enjoy my belly, kicks from baby girl and the beauty of having a child on the way without all the responsibility yet.
Failure:
A day after telling my SIL that I haven't had any heartburn = HEARTBURN.
Every night before bed.
Spring Break 2012:
Success!
A much needed vacay with sun, family and NO school or stress.
I feel fully refreshed and recharged to make it through this next hectic month.
Life is good.
There have been some really tragic things happening lately to people that breaks my heart, but it has helped me remember every wonderful thing I have in this life that makes it so good:
I get to experience this amazing thing called pregnancy and can't believe I'm getting so close to being done!
| Love chubby legs. |
I have so many cute nieces and nephews (plural now!) that all have such different but adorable personalities.
And I am married to my best friend who makes me happier than anyone!
I am one lucky girl!

Hey - I truly thought there was no junk food in the house. You have an uncanny ability to sniff it out!
