Cool things that have been going on:

-there is pretty much only a month until Chris' spring break!

-we are more than half way done with his first year of op. school! 4 years doesn't seem so long at this rate

-Chris has Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings off from school. We get to be together for 24 hours straight.

-Chris is getting his Masters in Education here as well. Extra classes, but no extra cost. We are going to milk this money sucking school for all the education we can!

-The weather. Green grass in winter.

-We have a porch. Our own porch to sit on in the warm weather. Can't wait.

-We both get free eye exams at the optometry school clinic. Chris gets contacts for free! I get them at cost. 

-This summer is going to rock. We will be in Utah in May for my best friends wedding and more, but we are spending the rest of the time up here! Hiking, camping, beaching, Mt. St. Helens-ing, and all the outdoorsy stuff we can find.

-I am so excited for Chris to be done with his first year! Then we will no longer be "1st years" and there will be a whole new group of newbies. 

-The AIR. LOVE it! sometimes we consider staying here after Chris graduates just because we love the air so much (amongst other things)

Not so cool things that have been happening:

-my car is seriously growing mold somewhere in it-it smells bad!

-A new gang is in town and "marking their territory" by stealing cars, breaking windows, and stealing stuff out of cars. Someone tried to break into Chris' car to steal it but couldn't get in luckily! The friends we drove home with for Thanksgiving had their car stolen out of their driveway, but it was found the next day about 3 blocks away. That also happened to someone else in F.G. Every morning we have look out our windows to make sure our cars are still there...

-mold mold mold mold mold. EWW. It gives me the heebie-jeebies.

-Sometimes I leave the groceries sitting on the floor for a couple of days because I seriously have no room to put them in the cupboards. Chris is awesome and lets me get away with it.
