Hand, foot and mouth.

Hand, foot and mouth disease...ever heard of it?
I hadn't until Chris and I got it!
I would rank it as one of the worst sicknesses I've ever had.
I have the hand and foot part and Chris has the mouth part.
I haven't been able to stand, walk or use my hands from the extreme pain.

These are the sores that are all over my hands and feet.

Each one hurts and there are more on the sides of each finger.

Chris hasn't been able to eat or talk much from the pain in his mouth-Lortab doesn't even help!
It started with a sore throat and high fever for both of us, but now we feel completely better, just crippled and in pain.
I've had to completely rely on other people for things I need and am stuck on the couch.
But sweet Chris has been carrying me and giving me piggy back rides to help me get around when I need to.
We went on a walk the other day...

and Chris pushed me in a wheelchair.
I felt so ridiculous and couldn't stop laughing!
I just couldn't handle being stuck inside any longer and walking wasn't an option!
Things are improving for me...
I can finally bend all my fingers and make a fist again!
I can also hobble around on the sides of my feet as well!
However, Chris is still being tortured with pain in his mouth.
I won't gross you out with how we think we got it...
but the good news is that we are ever so slowly on the mend!
