12 things

1- I am 38 weeks today.

37 weeks

Getting bigger everyday but still feeling really good!
It helps knowing there isn't too much longer before the few aches and pains I have will be over.

2-Chris has officially started his 4th year!

He is a full time working boy (except that we are paying tuition for him to work--boo)

It's been a weird adjustment going from lots of time to spend together...to just a few hours every night, but those hours are study free!

3. Chris went to Florida over Mother's Day weekend.

It was an all expenses paid contact lens training, so he went with a bunch of school friends and spent a few extra days there.
I was super jealous because he would have taken me with him if I wasn't past the "don't travel" point in pregnancy!

He came home with the craziest sunburn ever.

Spray sunscreen + wind = crazy burns.

Everyone else had hilarious burns too.

4- We watched the solar eclipse the proper way.

Would you expect anything less from an eye doctor?

5. We were all settled into our "room" in my parents basement...

and then the baby showers started!

Anyone want to come organize our room?

6. I have crazy, intense dreams every night about being in labor and usually wake up thinking I am in labor because of it.

But I definitely am not.

7. Went to the doctor yesterday and am dilated to a 1+ and 90% effaced.

She said the baby is really low and she thinks that she'll come in the next week or so!

She also stripped my membranes to help move things along. tmi?

This is so exciting and nerve racking at the same time!

I am a little skeptical that it will happen that soon...I guess we will see.

8. My wardrobe gets smaller every week as my belly gets bigger. 

I am really excited to fit into normal jeans again....someday.

9. We actually go to bed at 10pm now that Chris has to get up around 6am.

It's been an adjustment, but we are loving it.

(And then I go back to bed for another hour or two).

10. Even with our early bed time, I can't make it through the day without a nap, no matter what I'm doing.

Fell asleep while "bouncing" my nephew's bouncer.

11. Even though I feel huge, I love the shocked reactions I get when people ask when I'm due and I tell them 2 weeks.

Makes me feel less huge :)

I've never loved being tall so much.

12. Other than sales tax, we are loving being back home in Utah.
It's hard to believe we've already been back for almost a month and are so close to meeting our baby.
