Life lately has been a whirlwind of events!
It's been nonstop go go go and suddenly we are 5 weeks away from D-Day.
Here's a catch up of the events going on:

| The latest belly shot- a little bit old. |
At my 32 week appointment my doctor said I was measuring small--28 cm when I should have been 32, so she told us to get another ultrasound (that made 7).
We were mildly concerned that the baby had stopped growing because I hadn't gained any weight since my last appointment either.
It was the most painful and uncomfortable ultrasound yet, but so fun to see our girl.
We even saw "some" hair...hopefully that means lots!

| A profile shot - check out those huge puckered lips, she definitely got those from Chris! |
Turns out her growth is normal, she is the right size and everything.
At my 34 week appointment I was magically measuring 34 cm - right on.
Pretty sure my doctor just measured me wrong last time...
Had my 8th ultrasound today to check her position with my new doc. She is head down just like she's been since 20 weeks and she pointed out hair again :)
I can't wait to see if that hair is red, blonde, or brown!
She's got a pretty good shot at any of those.

Chris played intramural ball again this year with other 3rd year optometry friends and they finally won the championship!
Look how excited they all are :)
Our last weekend in Oregon some friends threw me my first baby shower!

It was such a fun shower! We played hilarious games and getting gifts for the baby made things seem really real! We haven't bought anything for her yet, so it was nice to get some things.
The shower was such a blast, thanks Laura and Heidi, and everyone who came!
We moved 800 miles!
It was one of the hardest things I've had to do this pregnancy.
Emotionally it was tough, but physically it was SO hard.
Ever tried to pack all your belongings into boxes according to these 3 categories: "open upon arrival," "store for 3 months," and "store for 1 year" while trying to keep similar items together?
Awful.
We had 18 half packed boxes going at one time.
Packing was very physically taxing, as was trying to maneuver through this maze of boxes. My legs took quite the beating from all the cardboard flaps.
It was hard to accept that my body just isn't capable of doing all I once was able to.
We had awesome help loading our truck and the next morning we said goodbye to Forest Grove and Oregon.
Like I've said it was bittersweet.
But it was POURING when we left which helped make it less bitter haha.
We split the drive into 2 days since I needed to stop every 2 hours and we couldn't drive as fast in a moving truck towing a car.
Day 1 we drove through rain 80% of the way. It was insane weather.
We also saw about 7 different rainbows that day.
Day 2 was sunny and bright and we made it home!
I was so glad to be done with the drive - 15 hours was a lot harder on my pregnant body than I expected.
Our moving truck was brand new (only 57 miles on it) when we got it, so it was a pretty nice ride.
We were exhausted when all the moving was done.
Chris was amazing! He worked twice as hard as he should have since I am like an old lady that can't do much.
It's crazy to look back and read about our move to Oregon here.
Since being home we have been busy taking care of business!
We've gotten some very important things taken care of (so nice to bring my stress levels down) and have finally organized all our stuff.
And we have seriously enjoyed spending time with family!

Now it's time to prepare for the baby!
We can't believe that I only have 5 weeks left (hopefully) but we are SO excited.
I am still feeling pretty good except that I am 10 degrees warmer all the time and my feet and ankles have started to swell...oh well!
We've got a lot to do before the baby comes but we can't wait!
