Little Londyn's Life

I am 4 weeks old now and growing like a weed. Mom says I am growing up way too fast, but at the same time she can't wait til I start smiling. Since I don't smile yet I try to make lots of different facial expressions when I sleep. Mom and Dad seem to enjoy that!
to infinity...and beyond!
I like my mom and dad but don't show it too much yet. They are pretty cool but they cheer for my bodily functions and it's so embarrassing! I can do just about anything and they think it's adorable.
I am pretty good for Mom at night. I usually go 3-4 hours between feedings. We sleep in pretty late together to catch up on missed sleep during the night.
I sleep like my dad, quietly and deeply. Mom sleeps pretty well with me in their room, until I start munching my hands as I start to wake up, then it wakes her up. I don't even have to cry!
The flat stomach I was born with is no more!
I looove to pee whenever my diaper is off! It's too fun to hear mom scream when I do this.
I have been nice and haven't pooped with my diaper off....yet :)
so comfy.
At my 2 week appointment I weighed 8 lbs 12 oz, up from 7 lbs 6 oz (what I had gotten down to) and passed my birth weight (7 lbs 14 oz). That puts me in the 66th percentile. My height is in the 93rd percentile...looks like I'll be tall and skinny. No surprise there! I am starting to lose my girlish figure though and am getting some slightly chunky thighs and a big belly. Mom and dad are thrilled so I guess I'll keep chowing down.
At 3 1/2 weeks old I was weighed again and am 9 pounds 11 ounces! The nutritionist thought Mom was feeding me formula because I'm packing on the pounds so quickly.
Everyone says I look just like my dad. Mom calls him a gene hog! But I did get my moms abnormally long arms.
sprawled out with my  looooong arms.
I don't cry very often and most people can't believe how chill and content I am...just like my laid back parents. I haven't even used a binky yet because I haven't needed one.
I've started to spit up a bit, just to keep Mom and Dad on their toes.
snoozin' on mom, who looks tired too.
At Target the other day I tried to tell Mom I had pooped (a lot) but she mistook my cries for hunger. When she got in the back of the car to feed me and discovered my blow-out-of-the-century you should have seen her face! I just contentedly watched her while she cleaned all my body up for several minutes. And then once I was all clean and strapped back into my car seat I decided I was hungry and cried again, so mom had to get me out again to feed me! Hehe.
I really like to eat and get a little demanding when Mom takes too long to start feeding me! I get real excited and real gulpy sometimes, resulting in coughing fits and big burps.
did I mention that Mom & Dad love my yawns?
I love stretching my arms up in the air and sleeping with them above my head. I can't imagine being swaddled, I like sprawling out too much.
See... sleeping spread eagle before a diaper change.
My mom (and almost everyone else) is sure I'm going to have red hair. In bright light it definitely looks red. Dad is so happy about that!
Mom would be a little bitter about me looking exactly like Dad, but she thinks we're both pretty darn cute so she's okay with it.
Dad has been really impressed that Mom has been "normal" since she had me. He was prepared for all the hormone changes, lack of sleep and everything else that should make her crazy.
Mom can't figure out how she bypassed all that stuff but she we sure are glad she did!
Silly Dad using the boppy as a neck pillow.
I am a fan of tummy time so far. I can turn my head to each side with lots of encouragement from Mom or Dad.
At my photo shoot with Deb and Uncle Rico.
"Do you have anything more billowy?"
Bath time is much more enjoyable now that I don't have to have sponge baths. I really like to wait and pee when I'm wrapped up in a towel after. Ha oh Mom and Dad love that...

Mom and Dad are my paparazzi and never stop taking pictures of me. Every position I've ever slept in has been documented. Can't I just sleep in peace?
Doing my best Michael Jackson impression.
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but Mom and Dad say that I'm the perfect, easiest baby. They are pretty lucky to have me!
