10 reasons I know I am getting OLD

I have a birthday coming up. That always pushes the feeling of being old on you.
1- Summer is no longer my favorite season. I never thought I'd see the day! After being pregnant during summer last year only until JUNE I had enough! I am so sorry to anyone that has to be pregnant through the entire summer. I've been ruined on summer ever since. Welcome to my new favorite season = fall! Get your butt here already.
2- I'm going to be half way to 50. HALF WAY. I'm no longer in my early twenties, the prime of life. I'm no longer a "young" mother. I have a child over 1, people are wondering when #2 is coming along (not anytime soon fyi), and we are no longer students.
3- Every stage of life I find the people in the previous stage annoying. 7th grade = elementary kids are annoying. 8th grade = 7th graders are annoying. 10th grade = jr high kids are annoying. freshman in college = high schoolers are annoying. Grad student (thru association of my hubby) = undergrads are annoying. I feel old because I no longer feel annoyed by most people in previous stages. I smile at their endearingly annoying qualities instead. What the crap?!
4- I've become a sunscreen Nazi. I no longer care about getting tan, I care more about not getting skin cancer! I may be whiter than white, but I'm hoping to reverse all those years of burns.
5- I recently read an old journal from elementary school and I had written down my wish-list for Christmas. It included things like an N64 paddle, fake cell phone, gameboy color, etc. Holy outdated and old school.
6- Chris and I team-teach the 12-14 year olds for Sunday school. When we tell them to look up a scripture they ALL pull out their phones or ipads or tablets. What the crap!?
7- I NEVER sleep in. I've turned into my mom, getting up before the kid(s) because you can get so much more done! And as long as I get to bed at a decent hour, I don't really miss it!
8- Vacations/traveling/outings are no longer relaxing. I'm always thinking/worrying about how to get somewhere, what needs to be taken care of, how certain things will work out, and always, ALWAYS trying to keep an eye on Londyn, keep her happy, and take care of her. (I still have fun, even if I can't totally let my guard down!)
9- There are not enough hours in the day! Really I just need to use my time more wisely, but isn't that such an old person thing to say?
10- I'm always thinking about boring things like finances, bills, health, and whether or not to make brown rice with dinner since Chris loves it even though it won't be as tasty as white rice. (I usually make the brown rice).

Bonus! 11- I make mature decisions, like making brown rice instead of white. (Stupid brown rice).

Yep, I'm definitely getting old.
