1, or 2?

You know when you go to the optometrist and while looking through the phoropter he asks "1 or 2?" over and over again while flipping lenses and rotating a bunch of knobs?
And how sometimes there really is NOT a difference so you just pretend like you think one is better?
Turns out...they KNOW when you are just guessing!
Chris has started using the phoropter and seems more and more like an optometrist all the time!
Remember last year when Chris practiced slit lamps on me?
A few weeks ago I went to school with him so he could do another one on me.
I was amazed at how much he seemed like a real optometrist.
He was so good and SO fast! He knew exactly what he was doing and how to do it.
It probably helped that he was dressed up in a shirt and tie too :)
When he used to practice on me (right after learning how to use the slit lamp) he was slow, fumbling around with everything and would tell me to look right and then look right again...instead of left.
Now that he's so good at it, it makes his future as an optometrist seem more real!
We aren't going to be in school forever...what a weird thought!

You know that makes me feel better to know that the optometrist knows when you have absolutely no clue which one is better.
