Sugar Mama

...is what Chris is required to call me these days.
I like to remind him frequently who is raking in the dough (ha...right...) and who gets to decide what that money is spent on.
But then he shuts me up rather quickly by reminding me who will be paying the bills in just a few years, for the rest of our lives!

So here are a few random things that have been going on...

Working has been so nice to keep me busy, along with schoolwork. It's made the time FLY and it's nice not to sit at home thinking of what everyone is doing in Utah and what I'm missing out on.
Oddly enough, it keeps me so busy I seem to forget that we are actually in Oregon. I frequently find myself picturing somewhere or something in Salt Lake and thinking how Chris and I should go there soon....until I remember that we live in Oregon.

Remember our Roloff Farm adventures last year?
Well my work is right up the street from them! I see their pumpkin sign everyday and I keep hoping one of them will come in to rent a few things!

To celebrate getting a job Chris and I ate at a Five Guys Burger and Fries that we found up here in honor of Utah, which we miss (they didn't have fry sauce though-boooo). Then we saw Avatar3D in the theater since we didn't go the first time it was out.
We LOVE avatar and it was incredible in 3D!
Cute Chris in his 3D glasses.
Remember how Chris got a new macbook pro and I wasn't super happy about how much more expensive Apple is?
After getting rebates for a printer and ipod touch and then selling them and his old macbook, his new mac only cost us $372. WOW! Chris is so stoked about that.

Chris has also been working hard getting points for Amigos (they go on trips to developing countries and give people the prescription of glasses they need, examine ocular health, etc.) so that he can hopefully go to BRAZIL over spring break with them!
One way to get points is to wash the donated glasses which he decided to do. We had a great time trying on all the FUN glasses.
Some had such strong prescriptions it hurt to just look through them.
 BIG blue eyes!

Walmart came to town!!
As much as I hate Walmart, I LOVE not having to drive 25 minutes to get to a store!
I almost pass it every time I go there cause it comes up so quick!
I also love their brand new shopping carts.
(I always end up with one with a broken or squeaky wheel at other stores).

And that's about how exciting our lives have been since school started!
